Simon of Cyrene was forced to help our exhausted Savior carry His Cross. 

The soldiers enlisted the help of a man coming along to carry the heavy wood. Mercifully there was someone to help! We do not know the heart of Simon. We only know the heart of God who provided him.

 

Fellow lovers of God, let us put on the clothes of mercy, generosity, compassion and service to others. The Lord is present there.

Our Father.... Hail Mary.... Glory Be to the Father....
